OUTDOOR RINK

There’s a great group of community residents all ready and raring to go at making ice for the ice rinks in Copperfield. What an encouragement to see so many come out willing to get involved and spend time outside for the benefit of the Community. There’s still opportunity to get involved if you’d like to! Mom and Tots Drop In Mom & Tots Drop In: A community resident has started up a monthly Mom & Tots Drop In for ages 5 & under. The drop in is held at the Community Hall (6 Copperstone Way SE) and is $2 for the morning. They will be held each month on a Friday morning between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. Space is limited and registration is encouraged. South East LRT Coilition South East LRT Coilition South East LRT Coalition Town Hall Meeting was held at Deerfoot Inn & Casino on Thursday, June 23rd. Transit access is a huge issue for south east residents! This newly-formed group is pushing all three levels of government (municipal, provincial and federal) to respond to our needs with the construction of an LRT station for the south east.
