BEFORE YOU SKATE OR WALK ON THE STORM PONDS, READ THIS COMMUNICATION FROM THE CITY:
In the past few weeks there have been many concerns brought forth to the City with respect to residents utilizing storm ponds for winter activities such as ice skating.
3 business units (Water services, Parks and Bylaw) have been addressing the concerns that have been raised.
Recognizing that education and awareness are key in preventing avoidable incidents, water services has created the attached information sheet explaining the ponds purpose and the need to utilize caution. Click here to learn more
Water Services, Parks and Bylaw are working to ensure signage is placed.
