CHRISTMAS LIGHTS DISPLAY & DECORATIONS CONTEST:
Decorate, decorate, decorate Copperfield!! Contest registrations close Friday, December 12, 2014 and judging will be done on Monday, December 15, 2014. Please fill out the registration form on the inside cover of the Pathways newsletter and drop it off at the Community Hall during office hours, or email email@example.com with the following information: Your name, your home address, phone number and email. On the email subject line, please enter "Christmas Lights Contest". Prizes will be awarded for the best display and runner up. Good luck!!
CASINO VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED:
The MDLCA is looking for volunteers to help out at our upcoming CASINO! It will be held January 23 & 24, 2015 at the Deerfoot Inn & Casino. We have 36 spots to fill with fun, community-loving volunteers. Day shifts (11:00 am - 7:30 pm Friday and 10:00 am - 7:30 pm Saturday) & nights shifts (6:45 pm - 4:00 am and 11:00 pm - 4:00 am Friday and 6:45 pm - 4:15 am and 11:00 pm - 4:00 am on Saturday) are available. This is a great opportunity to earn valuable funding for our community and we'll need help. Drop an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll get you slotted in somewhere!

You can mail in the page from your Pathways newsletter, stop into or call the office during office hours or purchase one at any of our events. Memberships help with many things including: lighting of the rink through the winter, maintenance on our building, sponsorship of many events like Picnic in the Park, early-bird registrations for Halloween, Easter and Christmas parties, etc. MDLCA members will also receive a discounted building rental rate. GOOD FOOD BOX UPDATE
Next order deadline is coming up January 20th for delivery on January 30th. The Good Food Box program is run by Calgary's Community Kitchen Program and operates by buying fresh top quality produce directly from farmers and from wholesale clubs. The food is bought in bulk and dropped off at the warehouse. The boxes contain the maximum produce possible in them for the price. A small box is 20-25 pounds for $20; a medium box is 30-35 pounds for $25; a large box is 40-45 pounds for $30. Boxes must be ordered and paid for by the 'order by' date. The MDLCA will be unable to order any boxes that are not paid for by the 'order by' date. Orders can be made by email to email@example.com or in person at the Hall during office hours and payment can be made at the Hall during office hours.
